School. Kids. Work. (not housework though. Hell no)
In short, Life Happens.
But finish you novel anyway.
Find the time to Create.
Minutes stolen while waiting for the kids. Cooking the roast. After that first cup of coffee in the morning. Keep a notebook in your pocket. Jot down those fleeting bits of story.
And routine. Routine. Routine. Pick a time of day to write and stick with it even if it is only 50 words. Write. Compose.
Do it.
Finish your book.

ReplyDeleteLately I've had to forego blog visits for life and writing. Sad but I had no other choice.
Me too Mary aka GigglesandGuns.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a bookmark in our writerly dreams. But always come back, buckle down, gird those loins (whatever that is), and Write.
Call it the B.utt I.n C.hair mindset.
Me three. And boy do you feel better for it!
