Why? Because I need some Spring
Winter does bring some rather cool stuff though, meteorological-wise:
This sun dog or halo, known as a parhelion in dry scientific terms, stayed for over an hour.
I read a book that described them rather succinctly as "...like pups around a bitch..."
That description made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteReally cool photos.
Love the first one - I can't wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteOooh, pretty. Don't see things like that around here.
ReplyDeleteI went through the horribly hot summer dying for winter. I'd rather bundle up than stay inside in air-conditioning and still sweat. Luckily, we're having a mild winter here, and I'm content. Love your pics! Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI think we could all use some spring about now. Still an inch of ice (and now snow... because, of course, it's snowing again...) coating every house, tree, and car here. And this is Kentucky! That's just ... wrong!
ReplyDeleteYour photos remind me of my snow boarding days, what fun we had.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! I needed a little spring too.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! You captured it nicely, too - especially that second shot.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't snowed here yet in England.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
Love when we get to see magical looking things in the sky. Great photos! I am ready for spring now. :)
