Reflections, A to Z, 2014

I had it easy. My simple, fun theme of Guess the Movie was
a breeze because I loved every post.

Since I scheduled way in advance, there was no need to scramble for the next day’s post. I was able to visit nearly 300 blogs.

There were many comments during the first week of the Challenge. Few at the end. I noticed my participation dropped off as well. I still visited many sites but if the blog was too wordy, if I had trouble finding the comment icon, or the color scheme made my eyes bleed, I moved on.

If the blogger was a day late, I was okay with that. Several days without a post though meant that I took the exit ramp and went to the next entry.

Sometimes I simply didn't know what to say.

My greatest delight was in meeting Sophie DuncanShe made my day.

A big round of cheers for all the participants, the new friends and old.

And High-Fives to the hosts.

  4. 300 blogs? Wow.

I also didn't bother with blogs that were a few letters behind. I noticed a lot dropped off somewhere in the middle. But a day or two off... at least they were still trying.

  5. I also found a few blogs that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the ones I found that were not participating, too wordy, too personal (about politics or religion), or just plain too weird were many...

  6. I guess a solid month of blogging takes its toll by the time we're rolling toward the end of the month. I did meet a lot of good folk along the way.

  10. Well done for completing the challenge.

I took the same tactic for visiting as you. There were a few that were behind but which had interesting and engaging posts so I stayed and commented on them. I also felt put off by really long posts. I know I have a tendancy to waffle on a bit on my own posts so that's something I'm trying to work on during my everyday blogging.
