The Princess Bride - 1987

An example of a great movie made from a so-so book.

  6. Instantly knew this one. To think we had it on video for years but I only started watching it when it came out on DVD.

  8. Totally late for this one, but I'd know that line anywhere! Absolute favorite movie ev-ver(it's a shared family thing for us...we even named our rabbits Prince Humperdinck and Princess Buttercup). And to top it all off, I tried to no avail, to get my husband's aunt (who officiated our wedding years ago), to do it in the voice of the clergyman! It would've been SO. MUCH. FUN!!!! No?
    Great post, Huntress!
